Unusuale
The Unusuale is a short daily game that consists of 10 rounds. Each round features a question that is centered around a specific article from the Unusual Articles Page on Wikipedia. Correct answers give you points, and try to get as many points as you can. Questions also come in multiple forms, which you can read about in the section below.
Please Note
At the end of the day, while scoring high is the main objective of the game, the actual goal of this site is to
pique interest into some of the strangest articles Wikipedia has to offer. If you find yourself reading one of them after playing, then the game has fulfilled its purpose.
Question Types
The current list of question types is as follows:
- Factles ask you to answer a fact about the article, with four possible options.
- Fakles ask you to choose the real unusual article out of four possible options.
- Identifiables give you a snippet from an article that you must identiy, with four possible options.
- Textles (Currently Disabled) ask you to answer an open-ended question about the article.
- Numerles (Currently Disabled) ask you to guess a number related to the article. Partial credit based on the proximity to the answer.
- Continentles ask you to determine the continent where an unusual place is located.
Textles and Numerles are currently being reworked as they were typically too hard to answer without extensive knowledge. They will be reworked and returned at a later date.

Cards allow a player to potentially score more points than normal, or reduce the impact of wrong scores. This can allow players to both go over the score limit, or end up with a negative score. Each game, the player gets 3 to 5 random cards chosen at the start of the day. Each card can only be used once, and only one card can be used per round. The current types of cards are as follows:
- Good Article Cards allow the player to gain additional points on a correct/close answer, at the cost of losing points on a wrong answer.
- Featured Article Cards allow the player to add a multiplier to the points they earn for the round.
- Citation Needed Cards allow the player to skip a question while still earning a percentage of the possible points.
